Protective Packaging is a leading UK-based, multinational manufacturer of climatic packaging solutions. Purpose of Role:


  • To liaise with the Sales and Customer Support team's in the progression of expanding our client base.
  • To assist the Marketing Manager in the progression and implementation of the Marketing initiatives as set by the company.
  • Researching and making contact with potential clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Gain product knowledge
  • Prepare sample packs
  • Send out sample packs
  • Conduct follow up call after sample packs have been sent out
  • Research new markets
  • Compile new industry databases
  • Research of existing markets
  • Obtain appropriate contact names within new target
  • Update customer database
  • Hit targeted call numbers
  • Exhibition preparation
  • Exhibition attendance
  • Exhibition follow up
  • Help Marketing department with internal communications
  • General administration duties
  • Other ad hoc tasks for the Marketing and Sale departments
  • To develop a detailed understanding of the customer base
  • To achieve activity standards as set by PPL
  • To liaise with all relevant personnel at PPL
  • Perform any additional tasks as required for the position

Knowledge/Experience

  • GCSE's grades 49 in English and Mathematics
  • Good computer skills including experience of using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively.

Salary:
£20,000 - £21,250


Starting Date:
Immediate.


Location:
Carrington, Greater Manchester.


Job type:
Permanent and full-time.


Reporting to:
Commercial Manager.


Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Fridays 08:00-16:10.


Objectives related bonus:
Quarterly Bonus scheme

£20,000.00-£21,250.00 per year
