We are currently looking for an Office Manager to join our clients, a well-established Financial Planning firm in the Nottingham area.


Working hours:

As an Office Manager, you'll be required to work Monday - Friday (Mon & Fri at Home)


The successful Office Manager will be offered:

  • Basic Salary
  • £35,000
  • £45,000
  • Holidays 26 days + bank holidays, plus additional holidays with longer service.

To be considered for the Office Manager role you must have the following:

  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the financial planning process, from initial engagement to advice execution and continued review.
  • Practical experience within the industry.
  • Experience in managing small teams.
  • Strong capability with technology and systems.
  • Great attention to detail, a positive approach, and a problemsolving mindset.

As an Office Manager, your role will involve:

  • Managing our administrative and paraplanning support team of 9, including regular recruitment, onboarding, appraisals and identifying training needs.
  • HR support. Dealing with the holiday, payroll, and employee requests.
  • Organising team events and wellbeing perks for the team
  • Managing the office facilities and liaising with thirdparty suppliers.
  • Ensuring financial plans and ongoing reviews are delivered accurately and on time. This includes scheduling incoming planning work, monitoring its progress and identifying obstacles.
  • Ensuring advised transactions are processed accurately and according to service expectations.
  • Minimising risk of advice or transaction execution errors through monitoring and continued process improvement.
  • Supporting the Operations Director and other senior managers with improving practices, implementing new procedures, and ensuring they are adhered to.
