THE ROLE:


The main purpose of this role is to facilitate the purchase and payment of IT hardware, software and any ad-hoc requirements for the University of Portsmouth.

This includes but is not limited to; ensuring the end to end purchasing activities including managing the renewal pipeline for allocated lower value orders, management of the order requests on the service request system, Hornbill, creation of order on the finance e5 System, monitoring the status of goods received and the receipt of the invoice, and confirmation the payment released, are completed.


This post will also carry the responsibility for ensuring that all end of Finance Years returns are raised and made on time and will also be required to perform the formulation of relevant finance calculations such as PMA, Creditors and Debtors spreadsheet as part of the Financial year end exercise.


Finally, this role coordinates and manages the administrative requirements for the department's central administration requests such as FOI, New Supplier Requests, New Joiner process, Credit card and Foreign Financial payments.
