This role is offered on a permanent basis offering an actual salary of £16,940 (£20,103 full time equivalent) based on 36.25 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week.

Please note that this opportunity is based in our Nursery, Ducklings Nursery.


We are looking for someone demonstrates the following:

  • Experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (preferably within Nursery).
  • Someone who will work well as part of a team, collaborating with two other Nursery Practitioners.
  • Some who must be organised and have the confidence to plan and prepare highly effective learning opportunities for children of all abilities.
  • A minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification
  • Being independent and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Ability to organise own work and that of others, identify priorities and meet outcomes
  • Lead by example, demonstrating high levels of drive, enthusiasm and passion with proven ability to motivate others
  • Excellent written communication with ability to produce and evaluate reports
  • Up to date knowledge of the current EYFS framework and other relevant regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children
