Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the ongoing demand of all sku's, ensuring that product availability is optimised and slow moving/redundant stock is minimised
  • Ensure the 'business rules' of demand forecasting are reviewed regularly and make recommendations accordingly based on insights/learnings from actual performance
  • Ensure all new products are set up and implemented with the mandatory data fields
  • Implement and administer supplier price increases into Merlin
  • Identify products where demand is changing out with the agreed parameters and make recommendations accordingly
  • Review MOQ's on a progressive basis
  • Develop a KPI reporting 'suite' which allows/enables better, more informed, decision making
  • Produce bespoke reports, as requested, for key stakeholders.
  • Produce/monitor the prescribed inventory reports and circulate to key decision makers
  • Ensure daily backorder reports are investigated thoroughly and appropriate actions are taken
  • Review negative stock lines on a daily basis and engage necessary stakeholders
  • Assist in the investigation of stock discrepancies and take corrective action
  • Assist the purchasing team where necessary
  • Play an active role within the SMS/NMS group
  • Take ownership for the classification of products, ensuring that they are reviewed/updated on a quarterly basis

Person:


Experienced Required:

  • Experience of operating in a mature commercial environment for a minimum of 3 years in a relevant role
  • Competency with Access database and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data
  • Attention to detail and ability to hit deadlines (a completer finisher)
  • Well organised with a structured approach; selfmotivated, independent thinker
  • Confident, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build positive, trusting relationships.
  • Good work ethic and a team player
  • Desire to succeed and task/results orientated
