We have a fantastic opportunity
for Senior Planner to join our PRISM offsite manufacturing team within our SES Engineering Services business unit. SES deliver bespoke, design-led cost-efficient solutions optimised for the whole construction team, by maximising off-site manufacture in our production facility SES PRISM delivering our solutions which minimise onsite resources and interfaces assuring quality and customer satisfaction in a measurable, safe way every time.

Key Accountabilities will include:

Work with the manufacturing team and key stakeholders to ensure projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced in the correct manner to allow the successful manufacture of solutions and ensure timely completion of the project
Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects
Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the manufacturing team to understand the programme position in relation to progress
Support the business with assessing and producing capacity mapping strategies to ensure seamless efficiency of the factory operations
Liaise with project teams to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and dropdown programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with SES Best practice, company procedures and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved.
Propose implementation strategies to improve factory production efficiencies

We are looking for a qualified Senior Planner with experience of working on M&E projects across a diverse range of sectors, have an advanced user level knowledge of Asta Power Project and competent knowledge base of the NEC3 & NEC4 suite of contracts as well as JCT contracts. Additional experience in other planning software formats, such as P6 would be advantageous.

To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator at all levels to develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, as well as promote best practice.
