Description

Chase Taylor is recruiting for a Transportation Planner to join a leading supplier of specialist glass to the construction industry.


This person will be responsible for coordinating transportation needs, ensuring that the delivery process is as smooth as possible and that there's as little downtime as possible.

You will plan and coordinate efficient vehicle routes for deliveries and be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained.

Transportation Coordinator Duties:

  • Manage and coordinate the scheduling of vehicles and equipment
  • Manage and maintain vehicle records
  • Plan and coordinate efficient vehicle routes
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance logs
  • Evaluate vehicle needs and recommend necessary repairs
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with automobile service departments
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory
  • Being aware of upcoming deliveries.
