    Registered Veterinary Nurse Opportunity

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Sidmouth and Ottery St Mary, Devon. The role will involve all first opinion nursing duties, with shifts split between consults and operating.

    This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week. We can offer either 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days. Depending on the chosen shift pattern, you may work from 8 am-6 pm or 9 am-6 pm. As part of the team, you will be involved in the weekend on-call rota, including Saturday morning clinics and Sunday afternoon shifts. Time off in lieu will be provided during the following week.

    We welcome applications from both full-time and part-time candidates, and we are happy to discuss flexible options with suitable applicants.

    Otter Vets has two branches based in the coastal town of Sidmouth and the market town of Ottery St Mary in Devon. Our practice provides veterinary care for pets, farms, and equine animals, with a strong focus on building close relationships with our clients and their animals. We encourage nurse consultations and aim to create a supportive and collaborative environment for our nurses and veterinarians.

    Our team is an integral part of the local community, participating in various charity events throughout the year, including fun dog shows, coffee mornings, and Christmas stalls.
