Applications are invited for SIA qualified cover security officers to work at a food manufacturing and distribution site.

The role is for a relief officer, working either alone or as part of a team and covering weekend night shifts.

This role has the potential to become a full time position.

Starting pay will be £11.00ph

Uniform and PPE will be provided.

ESOL level 2 for non-English speakers is essential.

Valid First Aid qualification desirable.

Your duties will include but not be restricted to:

Controlling vehicle and pedestrian access to site:

Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems:

-
Carrying out foot patrols:

-
Responding to site emergencies as and when required:

Ensuring heavy goods vehicle drivers comply with site safety rules and procedures:

Operating site weighbridge:

-
Carrying out contractor health and safety inductions
Gatehouse experience in a distribution/logistics facility is desirable but not essential, as full training & PPE will be provided.
