Falkirk Council is currently seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to take on the role of Electrical Coordinator to co-ordinate the day to day running of resources within the Building Maintenance Electrical Section.


Responsibilities:

Are you dynamic and want to make a difference in how we deliver public services?


You will work with teams to support the Council's ambitions in delivering service improvements and will regularly liaise with colleagues across a number of council departments.


Requirements:


You must have significant experience in management and hold a City & Guilds in SJIB 2391 and You will possess an HNC or equivalent in a relevant building maintenance related discipline.

You will also have a thorough knowledge of Electrical legislation, Health and Safety legislation, contract finance, estimating and contract management.

In addition, you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.


You will be motivated and confident with the ability to multi-task whilst working to deadlines and maintaining a close attention to detail.

We are looking for integrity, a can-do attitude, and someone with excellent communication skills who can work in partnership with other council colleagues.

A full UK driving licence is also required for this role.
