What you'll be doing
You will support the Digital & BIM Lead to produce the BIM Execution Plan and all documents to meet the Customer Requirements in the Exchange Information Requirements whilst supporting the Project Team in the delivery of Graphical, Non-Graphical and Documents


Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Digital & BIM Lead to educate people, implement Group Digital Minimum Standards and use technology during project delivery; and to develop model(s) with data integrated into the design, construction and facilities operation/maintenance.
  • Support with educating the project team and supply chain members for the use and development of the Project Information Model Graphical and Non Graphical (3D Model)
  • Support the Project team to implement processes/culture/technology so:
  • It can be used during project delivery and aid in reviewing potential conflicts. Work with the team in resolving the issues
  • The Programme can be linked to the Detailed Design Model i.e. 4D for Construction and own/support
  • The costs can be linked to the Model i.e. 5D for Construction and own/support
  • An As-Built model is created for Handover and Commissioning and own/support
  • The Asset Information/data can be linked to the model producing a 6D Model for Handover and Commissioning own/support i.e Generating/Managing As built information.
  • Digital Site Management Techniques / mobile tech is facilitated.
  • Research, develop, implement, review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing efficiency, reducing cost, improve quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm whilst collating data for senior management review.
  • Provide ongoing internal training / technical orientation to new staff / external training
  • Facilitate 3D coordination meetings with Internal and external project partners.

Who we're looking for Who we are looking for**- Understanding BIM ISO19650 Standards and Protocols

  • Supporting the Digital and BIM Lead on projects to comply with ISO19650 requirements imposed by client under BIM requirements.
  • Support the Project Team in the delivery of Graphical (models/drawings) and Non-Graphical (data) in line with the BEP
  • Developing the model into an asbuilt model with data attached to it for future operations and maintenance where required
  • Support with educating the Project Team and Supply Chain members for the use and development of the Project Information Model providing both Graphical and Non-Graphical information.
  • Deliver training and support for on their given BIM specialism.
  • Model management, assist BIM clash detection meeting and manage results to resolution.
  • Ability to check COBie assets requirements.
  • Working knowledge of project CDE environment
  • Create and manage the project BEP and other associated documents
  • Identifying the basic requirements and main deliverables expected from BIM tools and workflows
  • Working with Planners to provide 4D programme and logistic outputs on live projects Working with Q/S to develop the 5D (cost model) outputs and how to leverage the use of BIM in providing better cost certainty on projects.
