Logistics Sales Executive

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum

London (Stratford)

Grafton UK is recruiting exclusively for a market-leading Logistics Company to source an enthusiastic
Logistics Sales Executiveto join their fast-growing sales team in London.

The successful
Logistics Sales Executive will manage the relationship with key accounts, making sure the supplier capacity grows or remains constant, overseeing the achievement of Team targets, maintaining communications with existing clients,and building a new pipeline of new business.

Main responsibilities for
Logistics Sales Executive:

Maintaining assigned accounts and providing ongoing customer support.
Developing and implementing sales strategies around the provision of logístical services.
Identifying and contacting prospective customers to promote logístical services and negotiate contracts.
Collaborating with other departments to optimize logístical services and arrange shipment and transportation details with carrier agents.
Developing and maintaining an effective carrier network and excellent customer relationships.

The ideal
Logistic Sales Executive:

12 years' experience in a similar role such as Logistics sales executive / Logistics Specialist
Strong understanding of logistics processes in particular shipping/freight forwarding industry
Experience working in a fastpaced environment
Excellent communication & analytical skills
Previous experience in FTL/LTL service
Deep knowledge of UK/IE markets
Strong attitude to the "new" and the building of new business throughout the UK/IE
Hardworking and breakthrough attitude
Previous experience in sales, shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehousing will be advantageous.

Benefits:

- £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (DOE)
