Davies Resourcing are delighted to be working with an instantly recognisable global Insurer who are looking to expand their team in the Leicester area

Key Responsibilities

Broking insurance risk for recruitment business using both internal delegated authority, and referral to/liaison with Underwriters
Own document, process, and file infrastructure for all recruitment insurance business
Management of renewal process for all recruitment risks
Support Head of Insurance with upkeep of delegated authority agreements
Support Compliance Director in ensuring compliance and quality assurance protocols are maintained
Work with the marketing team to generate insurance related comms, both internal and external
Attend client meetings in person or remotely, as required, in order to secure new business and renew existing risks
Represent the client by attending industry functions and events as required
Monitoring and reporting of departmental output
Reviewed current processes and updated departmental file infrastructure and created a plan on how to manage this going forward.

Essential Experience and Skills

Ideally 3 to 5 years' experience in an Underwriter / Broker role
Knowledge of Professional Indemnity & Liability product lines
Experience of working with corporate clients / business owners
Experience making presentation of risk to underwriters and/or presentation of insurance proposals to policyholders.
Enjoys and is good at implementing processes and structure.
Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and confidence in building strong professional relationships with clients.
