Are you passionate about the care you are able offer to patients in the comfort of their own home to avoid hospital admissions? Then this is the role for you.

You will be part of a wider multidisciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Pharmacy.


We will support you with specialist and bespoke training to reach your potential and excel in your chosen career path.

You will receive one to one clinical support, professional development, and guidance.


The Discharge to Assess service will be a seven day service working between the hours of 8am-6pm on a rota basis.

We promote flexibility and are happy to support different working patterns.


In the role as Therapy Assistant, you will provide vital support to the wider Community Therapy Team on the implementation, delivery and evaluation of therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation programmes, being responsible for your own caseload.

This will include working under the supervision of the Registered Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

Working without direct supervision you will be responsible for delivering defined therapy input for patients in their own home. Immediate access to a qualified staff member for advice and direction on care will be needed as required.

You will be required to travel across the Trafford community locality, a full driving license with access to a vehicle is required
