    Job Title: Environmental Fate & Metabolism SME

    We are seeking an accomplished Environmental Fate & Metabolism Subject Matter Expert to lead our growing Environmental Fate team. As the Head of E-Fate, you will provide leadership and strategic direction to a team of Study Directors, Scientists, Technicians, and Support Staff.

    VRS-UK is a renowned company with over 65 years of experience in tackling highly complex analytical studies that require extensive industry expertise. We support our clients in understanding the lifecycle of chemicals in the environment and their impact on the ecosystem.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the scientific and operational performance of the Environmental Fate department, driving high standards of science, quality, and financial performance.
    • Advance the department's capabilities and enhance team performance.
    • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    1. A relevant higher degree in Chemistry, Biology or a related discipline.
    2. A recognised SME in E-Fate with proven leadership experience.
    3. Strong strategic and operational leadership skills with a track record of delivering high standards of science, quality, and financial performance.
    4. Experienced in regulatory compliance and familiar with GLP standards.
