Nursing Home Hotel Services Manager.

Working Hours:
Full Time 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday including some weekends when required.


Times: 9am to 5pm

Rate of Pay:
£15.50 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Job Role:

The hotel services supervisor is an integral part of the well-being services team. You would be responsible for overseeing a group of homes within a defined geographical area. The role involves actively supporting the well-being and hotel operations in each home. to achieve positive outcomes.


About the role

  • Supporting the Well-Being Coordinators in each home to ensure the compliance of the wellbeing systems.
  • Liaises with the home manager to find solutions when issues within the whole home approach arise.
  • Identifies gaps in the hospitality of the Residents experience e.g. admission process, day to day welcoming to the home, phone call handling, bed side manner) and leads by example in interactions with stakeholders.
  • Works closely with the facilities coordinator to ensure a luxury home environment.
  • Hotel services and presentation of the home are maintained to a high standard.
  • Wellbeing programmes are relevant and up to date with industry changes and trends.

Criteria for Well-Being Coordinator

  • To have an interest in the wellbeing movement and social care.
  • To possess creativity, enthusiasm, patience and empathy.
  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to manage and involve other staff members in resident's wellbeing and social interests.
  • To be compassionate.
  • Have a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the residents.
  • Have excellent listening skills.
  • A qualification or experience in Health science, social science, events, or creative arts is preferred, but not essential.
  • To have a minimum of 2 years management/leadership experience in a care or hospitality role.
  • Excellent Verbal and writing skills.
