Financial Controller / Head of Finance |£65,000 - £75,000 + benefits |Park Royal London

The Opportunity

Exceptional opportunity for a confident and ambitious finance professional looking to step to Head of Finance / Financial Controller within growth SME based at Park Royal.

The entrepreneur led business is currently in the £15m - £20m turnover bracket and delivering impressive expansion.

You'll be joining as the number 1 in finance - reporting directly to the Ops Director and MD.

It's a hands on role - overhauling the existing financial reporting and controls - a chance to really make a difference through the delivering of insightful MI,reporting and dashboards.

You'll shine a light around forecasting, revenue streams, margin, profitability, stock management, variances, budgets.

Loads to get stuck into and a chance to add bags of value.

It' a visible and vital role with exposure to the boardroom from day one.

It's also a very down to earth, no nonsense distribution setting so you need to be equally comfortable in a fast paced warehouse / distribution setting as you are in your office.

The group are keen to find someone who will joint he journey and look to become FD down the line.

You will ideally:

Be comfortable as the primary finance contact for a growing ownerdriven distribution business.
Be confident producing detailed and reliable management accounts, cashflows, budgets and forecasts.
Be someone who will enjoy refreshing the existing controls and reporting and having the freedom to redesign the current pack.
Be qualified or QBE.
Have excellent IT skills (use of Sage would be beneficial).

This is a rewarding and progressive hands-on role in an SME. It's a group with an excellent track record and well-established position within their market. They have a strong and enviable client base and superb pipeline for 2023 / 2024.

You need to be comfortablegetting out into the business and working with operational teams / directors to assist in managing and driving further growth / success.
