Alecto Recruitment are looking for an individual with experience in Biomass/Waste/ Renewable Energy to work with our client, as a Site Manager on a Biomass CHP site in the Exeter area.

Package

Performance Bonus
8am 5pm Monday
Friday

- £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

Plant Performances

Manage the optimal operation of the CHP Plant in relation to uptime, electricity output and heat output.
Manage and optimise operation of the Wood Shaving and Baling Plant in relation to the overall production process, receipt of raw product, machinery uptime, quality assurance of final product, and export to customer.

Maintenance

Oversee required maintenance works in relation to all equipment at the CHP, Shaving and Baling Plant to ensure it kept in a clean, safe and working state.
Report, document and plan works in conjunction with the Central Maintenance Team and manage onsite engineers / contractors to ensure work is completed to expectation.
Health & Safety
Ensure all operating and personnel data records are maintained correctly and are stored securely, in line with Company policy.
Maintain and update the Work Orders for your site on the Central Maintenance Management System (Fiix).
Ensure incoming and outgoing product movements recorded correctly and in a timely manner.

Person Specification

Demonstrable experience in either Renewable Energy, Waste Management Manufacturing, or Agricultural sectors
Significant Line Management experience with proven capability to lead and motivate
IOSH or NEBOSH qualification preferred
Capability to problem solve and fault find
Ability to manage workload and conflicting priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Proactive, flexible, and adaptable
