The Opportunity:

Opening for an experienced
Estimator with a proven background working with Fire, Security or Electrical take offs, design and quotations

Occasional site visits may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Study, formulate and transpose work schedules into pricing templates.
Read project proposals, plans and specifications.
Identify and quantify measures extracted from project documentation.
Liaise with clients to identify unknow or additional requirements.
Liaise with insatallation teams on labour/material requirements
Maintain supplier and cost information within relevant databases.
Compute costs through the analysis of labour, material and time requirements.
Prepare and finalise tender documentation to meet tender submission deadline.
Takeoff drawings to produce quantified information for bids.
Gather quotations/ pricing information from subbies & suppliers and input in pricing document.
Managing drawings, creating, and maintaining registers for all projects and subcon enquiries.
Supporting the Contracts Managers.
Working with the project and installation team
Full training provided on estimating software
Proficient on use of Microsoft software
CAD experience an advantage

Estimator Requirements:

Ideally 2+ years experience of multiple commercial sectors in Education, Retail, Leisure, Hotels etc.
Strong experience reading specifications and drawings for estimating.
Be adaptable, motivated and happy to work within a cohesive team.

Salary:
£28,281.84-£35,385.95 per year
