Nursery Assistant Role

Empowering Learning is currently looking for a Nursery Assistant based in Newham
.This is a long term role where you would be required to be an SEND TA working across EYFS - KS1 and KS2, where needed starting from 9:15. Then from 3pm to 5:45pm you would bre required to attend their afterschool club working with ages 4-11. We arelooking for an enthusiastic early year's professional for this full-time position.


The School Setting
**Nursery Assistant Role

  • Job Responsibilities*
  • Make sure that the pupils you support are able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity
  • Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
  • Ensuring the child is supervised on a constant basis during school hours
  • Help the child to learn and engage during teaching periods

Experience, Training & Qualifications

  • Desirable, Montessori experience
  • Good understanding of EYFS curriculum
  • First aid training
  • Previous experience working in a UK school or Nursery
