The role of a Sports Stars Sports Coach is a great opportunity for an individual wishing to inspire young children.

The role includes the delivery of sports coaching and teaching a range of extra-curricular activity and sports clubs, for children of all abilities.

We help train you to deliver a range of amazing schemes of work covering all key stages and sports.

There are currently various roles available from apprenticeship, part time, 12/18 month fixed contract to Full time

This role is based in Surrey, delivering at Schools mainly in Guildford and Cranleigh.

We are searching for potential stars who can join our exceptional team within local Primary Schools, by providing fun and energetic activities for children aged years.

Our incredible team provide outstanding opportunities for children across surrey to learn new skills and engage in a range of sports.

There a range of opportunities and roles for the right individual

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a range of services to primary school age children in local schools and communities, including:

PE / PPA Lesson Delivery
Afterschool sports clubs hours)
Lunch clubs + Birthday parties
Holiday camps
Ensure a fun and energetic service is delivered in line with Sports Stars standards.
Provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with parents, children and School staff.
Clear career pathway laid out to advance through the company

Qualifications and Skills

Level 1 + 2 Sports Coaching qualifications.
Have a positive, dedicated and hard working mentality.
Be an inspirational individual who can inspire children, teachers and parents alike.
Be reliable and passionate over everything else as there will be interaction with many different people both internally and in the schools you work in.
Be able to be a role model and relate to and engage with children between the ages of 41
Be able to build strong relationships with other coaches, parents and Headteachers.
Undertake an enhanced DBS Check and First aid training

Experience:

- sports coaching: 1 year minimum (preferred)

Licence:

NGB Level 1 minimum (required)
Level 2/3 coaching qualifications
