About us

Founded 9 years ago by Josh Dow with just a single lawn mower, JDS Gardening now supports 14 employees to deliver commercial grounds maintenance, gardening, tree surgery, and fencing.

Our plans for 2023 include expanding our services into waste management and launching an e-commence store.

We're a young, ambitious, rapidly growing business. We want people around us who will help shape the business.

The duties below form the main areas of responsibility; however these may change over time depending on the needs of the business.

The job

We are looking for a new team leader who must have experience in running gardening/landscaping teams
We are looking for other people to join the team, they do not need experience to get on board, only a can do attitude
We are looking for 3 new people (1 team leader and 2 gardeners/landscapers who are willing to learn the skills required)

It is a bonus if you have any of the following:

Strong horticultural knowledge
Experience in all horticultural equipment.
Enhanced communication and organisational skills.
A willingness to learn new thing.
Time management and planning.
A positive attitude to execute, deliver and succeed in all aspects of life.
To listen carefully and liaise with clients.

Experience:

We can start anyone with no experience and train them correctly
If you have experience you can start further up the ladder

Qualifications/Education:

Any related qualifications will start you further up the ladder

Job Type:
This is a full-time position with an immediate start. With an initial probationary period, and then an opportunity to carry on if a "good fit" for the company.

Pay
£ £18.00 p/h (From no experience to highly skilled)

Salary:
£10.42-£18.00 per hour
