Supreme Surface Treatment Engineering is one of the leading manufacturers of components to the anodising and electroplating industry. We also deal in the supply of fasteners and fixings with the technology to create solutions for bespoke requirements.Key Responsibilities and Requirements
You will perform essential duties to ensure that parts are machined to the specifications detailed in the engineering drawings in order to assure high quality and correct quantity.
You will work closely with the engineering and assembly sections to provide in-process trouble shooting and evaluation of quality of the finished product.
Skills and Qualifications:
- the ability to competently and safely operate a CNC Machine without supervision.
- the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- the ability to competently use precision measurement equipment such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
- a basic knowledge in Health & Safety at work
- the ability to work flexibly on tasks and new situations
- the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
- 5 GCSE's grade C, including Maths and English or NVQ Level 2 in Engineering.(preferred)
Experience:
- CNC Operator: 1 year (preferred)
- Fusion 360 would be an advantage
The Position:
This is a Full-Time position at 40 hours per week.
Job Type:
This is a Full-Time Permanent position.
Day shifts 8:00-4:30 Monday to Friday with some overtime available.
