We are looking for a dedicated & passionate Phlebotomist to join our busy Nursing & Health Care Assisitant team providing excellent care to our increasing patient list size.

The successful candicate will be responsible for collecting patient blood samples in a safe and professional manner, ensuring appropriate hygiene and infection control techniques, wound care and long term condition annual reviews.

• Appropriate certificate in venepuncture or be able to evidence equivalent experience in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
• Familiarity with EMIS Web and UHSX ICE systems wouylkd be an advantage but is not essential as training for this will be given.
