Required from September Year Fixed Term)

  • Be an enthusiastic, motivated teamplayer who enjoys working with young children
  • Work under the direct instruction of the Head of Prep, SENCO and teaching staff to promote access to learning
  • Have experience of working in a classroom setting, promoting curiosity in learners through play
  • Support a range of needs and abilities
  • Understand the value of promoting independence and resilience in learners of all ages, including those with SEN
  • Be an excellent communicator with both children and adults
  • Be caring, patient and supportive with a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Be open to providing some basic personal care, if required
  • Be able to conduct pupil effective observations as part of pupil assessment
  • Have an excellent work ethic and be resilient
