Job Summary
Kiwa UK is looking for Finance Business Partner to join our innovative Finance Team.

With a proactive and collaborative approach, our Finance Business Partner will provide strategic financial leadership and strong financial governance for the RF & Electrical Business Cluster.

Working closely with our Cluster, Finance Director and Business Unit Leaders this person will enable Kiwa to thrive profitably and compliantly.

This role will be hybrid based within Buckinghamshire with offices in Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. Kiwa, is a global top 20 leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification.

About the role
Our trusted Financial Controller to the RF & Electrical cluster will ensure best practice commercially and legislatively with the following duties:
Headline Role

  • Be the trusted financial business partner to the Cluster, ensuring best practice commercially and legislatively.
  • Utilise and interpret data to support the Cluster in driving efficiency and profitability.
  • Constructively challenge the status quo and provide alternative perspectives to all stakeholders.
  • Become an integral part of the Cluster management teams, offering a financial perspective on business decisions and attending management meetings as required.
  • Partner with the UK Finance Director to influence bestpractice and identify synergies across the whole UK Kiwa Group.
Commercial

  • Partner with the Cluster Director and Finance Director to create and implement a united strategic growth agenda.
  • Create and maintain appropriate models for forecasting, investment appraisals and Clusterfocused MI.
  • Partner on commercial matters such as pricing, market expansion and sales strategy.
  • Dive into the detail to provide financial insight and guidance to the Directors proactively.
  • Drive efficiencies within the working capital cycle.
  • Identify areas of growth and opportunity via data analysis, as well as identifying areas of risk

Do you have what it takes?

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) with >3 years Finance leadership experience in industry and Finance Business Partner experience
  • Experience of supporting strong stakeholders with the ability to use soft power to influence and ensure best practice is upheld.
  • Experience of being able to drive the culture, inc. significant cultural change, within organisations
  • Experience of working in a multisite, multidiscipline business
  • Relevant experience of balancing the needs of customers, shareholders and employees
  • Excellent communication skills, with the brand and culture at its heart
  • The ability to deliver to tight timescales and deadlines consistently
  • Excellent day to day planning and organisational skillsDynamism, aptitude for problem solving, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results
