Description

Purchasing Administrator, High Wycombe

  • Responsible for all purchasing administration in this busy manufacturing business
  • Liaising with various suppliers who will already be set up with terms agreed
  • Contacting three suppliers and find the best ones based on cost, lead time and service before placing an order and tracking the order
  • Selecting suppliers and placing purchase orders
  • Managing placed orders and finding solutions if problems arise
  • Keeping track of existing stock and replenishing when needed for new orders
  • Confident use of Excel tracking what is ordered, when is it due, who is it ordered from, purchase order and payment details, progressing orders
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Basic spreadsheet work add up columns and rows, use simple filters or reorder columns
Over time this role will grow to include liaising with customers and dealing with project management.

  • You need to be well organised
  • You need to converse with suppliers confidently and efficiently
  • You need to be able to prioritise workloads
  • You will live close to High Wycombe and will drive as there is occasional travel to meet suppliers

Job Offer
Salary circa £25,000 - £30,000 dependant upon experience.
