We are looking for a motivated individual to join our forward thinking, friendly Revenues and Benefits department delivering our Five Star Customer Service Standards and helping our residents and ratepayers to manage their accounts.


What will you be doing?

  • Providing guidance on eligible Council Tax discounts, exemptions and reliefs
  • Dealing with enquires from customers and negotiating payment plans
  • Updating and maintaining accurate customer accounts and notifying them of their liability to ensure efficient collection of Council Tax

What do you need?

  • A good understanding of Council Tax / Business Rates legislation and guidance
  • Excellent communication skills as well as being a team player
  • A positive and proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and continuous improvement
