Are you looking for a new challenge with a market leader?
As a result of our continued success and to aid with future plans we are now have an exciting opportunity in our Newcastleoffice for a Contracts Assistant
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful individual will aid in the planning and organising of all contracts within the branch to ensure a professional delivery of our services to our customers.
The role is a key interface between our customers and colleagues and as such you will be required to maintain high standards of communication at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate with customers in regards to the commencement and progression of scheduled works
- Taking deposit payments and invoicing
- Ensure all materials are purchased and are on site for commencement of works
- Uniform ordering for staff where required
- Complete daily sales reports
- Communicating with customers in regards to debt chasing
We are a small and busy team, and as such you may be called upon to perform other reasonable duties throughout your working week.
We expect you to adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the teams.
Requirements:
We are looking for you to hold the following attributes:
- Possess previous administrative experience with good IT skills and be a proficient user of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Be versatile; both a good team player and able to use own initiative whilst under pressure
- Hold a professional and confident telephone manner with a strong ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with the internal and external touchpoints.
- Experience working within the construction/building industry ideal but not essential
