We are looking for an HR professional who wants to grow their practice in the areas of Human Resources Business Partnering.

In this HR leadership role, you will be welcomed into a division with strong values at its heart. The role will report directly into the Divisional Director, with a professional line into the Head of HR.

You will be supported by the Divisional Leadership Team, an Assistant Human Resources Partner, the central HR team and a network of experienced HRPs.

In this role, you will have the autonomy to make an impact. We would like you to help us to develop ways of working which celebrate best practice HR.

It's important that you can develop effective working relationships, and you will be asked to interact with all sorts of staff members from clinical colleagues to trade union representatives to our executive board.

We will be looking for you to be confident in your operational HR knowledge although you won't be expected to know it all and there are lots of friendly, experienced colleagues who will be happy to support you and help you.

It would be beneficial to bring a sound understanding of employment law, experience handling a range of employee relations issues and coaching and supporting colleagues to understand and interpret our people management policies.

But you will never be alone and will be a very welcome addition to our workforce and organisational development team.

The Trust has a workforce of circa 4,500 - each and every person contributing to patient care.

As an experienced HR professional, you will offer the following skills:

  • HR Advisor or Assistant HRBP experience in a complex organisation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to quickly establish good working relationships
  • Experienced partnering with line managers and providing HR experts to implement effective HR interventions
  • Successful, solution focused HR advice and guidance on across a range of employee relations cases
  • Ability to think conceptually and laterally in problem solving
  • Experience of delivering a range of OD activities across a division or service
  • CIPD qualified or working towards a full CIPD or other relevant qualification (preferable)
