An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Forensic Analytical Services Laboratory team as a Laboratory Officer.


In this role you will be responsible for the service delivery of a range of specialist technical and photographic/imaging functions across all areas within the East Midlands Special Operations Unit - Forensic Services.

You will provide specialist technical advice to the East Midlands Special Operations Unit Management Team and colleagues on imaging capabilities and case progression.


To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 2 A Levels, grade C or above with one of which is chemistry or photography and the other to be in a science discipline or equivalent and have experience in a forensic, photographic or scientific laboratory.

Please note that due to the nature of the role you must have a valid driving licence.
