Description

We are looking for a ward clerk to join our admin team at Bromyard Community Hospital, we are an 18 bedded unit.


You will need to have great communication skills and be able to multi task in a busy fast paced environment.

The role is 20 hours per week


The post holder will arrange appointments, transfers etc, on the request of the nursing and medical staff, liaising with other wards, departments and outside agencies as necessary.


The post holder should ensure that medical notes are maintained in good order, with filing undertaken promptly when the notes have been completed by health care professional.

The post holder will politely meet and welcome all patients and visitors to the department.

The post holder will ensure maxims is kept up to date at all times with admissions transfers and discharges.
