Moonstone Day Care Ltd. is seeking an experienced Qualified Nursery Practitioner for a permanent role of Nursery Team leader.

Moonstone Day Care is a growing group of Private Day Nurseries and Pre-School in the West Midlands.

The setting is based at Moonstone Day Care, Wolverhampton.

This is a full-time opportunity working 40 hours per week
varied Monday to Friday between 7:15am and 6pm. As a company, we pride ourselves in supporting our team. This helps to create the right environment for staff, children, and families alike.

A Moonstone Team Leader is energetic, enthusiastic, imaginative, happy, can work on their own initiative and lead by example.

The successful applicant will be passionate about working in childcare, as well as working within a nursery team.

Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
≈ Working to achieve and maintain high standards of care and education.

≈ To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with your team reflective of the EYFS.

≈ To lead a team of practitioners.

≈ To be responsible for opening and closing the setting.

≈ To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times.

≈ To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

≈ To work in partnership with the parents and provide good customer service.

≈ To ensure confidentiality at all times.

≈ Working within a team.

≈ Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification relevant to childcare.

≈ Have a good knowledge and understanding of EYFS.

≈ Have good command of the English Language.

≈ Have knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation.

≈ Have good communication skill.
