My global, market leading client are looking for a Financial Accountant based in their Wigan office on a permanent basis.

I am recruiting for this position on an exclusive basis, my client is proud to boast a low staff turnover.

With a salary of between £45,000 and £50,000, my client offers flexible working and hybrid working model which makes this a fantastic opportunity.

Duties:

The Financial Accountant will producing Monthly Management Accounts
Building relationships with department heads and be able to provide effective business partnering.
Balance sheet reconciliations
Providing support with the annual budget, forecasting and audit/yearend process
Preparing and submitting the Group's VAT returns
Being involved with new system implementations, acquisitions, and wider projects to improve finance processes and reporting.

Specification:

Position is open to Qualified, Part Qualified & Qualified by Experience
Previous experience of managing a small team
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Previous experience in a commercial environment providing analysis.
