Position:
Male Outreach Worker for Care experienced Young People
Office Location:
Enfield, however service is delivered in and around North East London
Salary:
Salary: £ £13.30 per hour. Mileage or Car Allowance will be office

will vary depending on support needs and staff absences.

Job Summary:
As a Male Outreach Worker, you will be at the forefront of community engagement, raising awareness, and facilitating access to essential resources and services.
Duties:
- Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to engage with target populations.
- Develop individual choice, self-direction and essential life skills
- Live healthy, safe and fulfilled lives
- Find education, training or employment
- Build their selfesteem, confidence and resilience
- Grow their support networks
- Understand their finances and learn budgeting skills
- Develop social skills so they can enjoy their lives to the full
- Understand their rights and entitlements
- Conduct individual risk assessments to identify support needs.
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate outreach efforts.
- Provide education on public health topics and promote healthy behaviours.
- Assist individuals in accessing resources and services.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and achievements.
- Assist individuals in accessing resources and services.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Youth Work or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience working with vulnerable care experienced young people.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in engaging with diverse populations.
- Strong administrative skills, including data collection and recordkeeping.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for public health promotion and education.
- Possession of a driver's license and access to own vehicle (mileage will be paid).
