Senior Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor


Nuffield Health, the UK's largest not for profit healthcare provider, is seeking a Senior Fitness & Wellbeing Advisor to join the team on a full time, permanent basis in one of our corporate Fitness & Wellbeing Gyms.

The site opening hour are 06:15am
Monday to Friday with shifts alternating between these times.

Role Overview:

Senior Fitness & Wellbeing Advisor in a corporate Fitness and Wellbeing Centre with over 2000 members.

Operating in a prestigious corporate environment, you will work alongside the Fitness Manager to supervise the fitness team while delivering high quality customer service, fitness programming, delivering wellbeing seminars & workshops and group exercise instruction with an overall focus on employee wellbeing.

The option to deliver personal training to supplement your income is also available to you.


As part of the duty management team you will also be responsible for the daily operations of the club at set times.

The role is Monday to Friday (No Weekends or Bank Holidays) with variable shift patterns. The site opens at 06:15am and closes at 20.00.

CIMPSA certified

With a passion for helping people improve their health, as our Senior Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor you'll deliver exceptional service.

You will need a strong fitness background and experience of working in a corporate or commercial fitness environment. You'll need to be a great communicator with excellent written and oral skills.

Required Skills:

A thorough understanding of corporate wellbeing culture

A team player with the willingness to support both fitness team with daily tasks and the site with duty manager responsibilities

Outstanding customer service skills

Ability to deliver outstanding tailored personal programmes

Excellent class delivery skills

Meticulous attention to detail in all areas of work

A highly effective communicator who inspires and motivates members

A team player with exceptional planning and organizational skills

Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel


Desired Skills:

Previous experience as a fitness instructor, preferably with team leader or management/duty manager background


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Ensure standards and site operating procedures are adhered to

Ensure successful delivery of consistently high quality Personal Programs

Ensure successful delivery of consistently high quality exercises classes

Ensure successful delivery of Wellbeing seminars and workshops

Achieve all other Key Performance Indicators

Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with club standards

Assist delivery of events and challenges calendar

Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including emergency action procedures

Supervising the fitness floor, overseeing member engagement

Work closely with the Fitness Manager to follow through with your own personal development plan

Salary - £25,000 (Personal Training opportunities available)

London, Canary Wharf

Full-time, 40 hours per week
