Farrans Construction is on the lookout for an accounts clerk to join our finance team.

Farrans are a leading building and civil engineering contractor with over 80 years' experience of delivering world

As an Account Clerk you will be responsible for:


  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Processing Goods Received Notes through computerised accounting system, matching to purchase order and invoice
  • Resolution of missing GRNs
  • Resolution of order queries with buyers and site staff
  • Coding of invoices
  • Ensuring adherence to control procedures
  • Other general office duties as required

Your required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience processing invoices
  • Grade C or equivalent in GCSE English and Maths
  • High level of proficiency with the suite of MS Office packages.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Self-Motivated and willing to take responsibility
  • Able to work collaboratively in a multiteam environment
  • Strong Communication Skills (Written & verbal)
