Description

We're on the look out for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our Sticky Paws Kitchen Team on a full-time permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.

We're open 7 days a week with weekends and school holidays being our busiest days, so you'll need the ability to work on a flexible rota.

(Hours range from 8.30am until 7pm, usually working 8 hour shifts).


You'll be part of a dedicated & ambitious team, ensuring all food we offer across our site is tasty, of exceptional quality and worthy of our little (and big) explorers sitting down to eat.


What will you be doing?
You'll develop a wide range of skills focused around all aspects of working within a busy, energetic kitchen.

This will include but will not be limited to:


  • Adhering to and working with Food Hygiene & Food Safety procedures
  • Prepping, cooking & assembling high quality dishes
  • Stock control / stock management

We need someone who

  • Is conscientious, adaptable and flexible in working across different food areas
  • Is able to work as part of a diverse team but confident lone working
  • Is able to remain calm under pressure and/or in a fastpaced busy kitchen
  • Is highly passionate, ambitious and enthusiastic in their work
  • Is open to further training and development be creative
For this role, you'll ideally have previous experience working in a busy kitchen, sound knowledge of food hygiene standards (EHO guidelines) and proven experience working as part of a team
