Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the post holder will be key to achieving the Trust's vision and ambitions, and as a member of the Trust's senior leadership team, will provide insight, support and advice, to assist in the delivery of the Trust's objectives.


The postholder will be a key support to the CEO, assisting them to carry out elements of their administrative functions, escalating risks, and ensuring regional returns and activities are completed.


You will also lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) Team, providing strategic leadership and support to this service.


You will also take the lead on developing the Trusts Cultural Improvement Strategy and plan, and will be instrumental in working collaboratively with all groups to enhance, further develop and embed a culture of improvement within NCIC, providing the Clinical Collaboratives and corporate departments with an offer of support, advice and information.

We are seeking a highly competent individual who has experience in board-level director roles within NHS organisations, with a successful history of strategic transformation initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in the areas of finance, safety, culture, and structural sustainability.

You will have a strong track record of successful strategy development, implementation, and evaluation, leading to tangible outcomes.

Recent experience as a board-level director within an NHS organisation that has achieved an overall CQC rating improvement to 'Good' is also an essential requirement.
