Are you currently a Pension Administrator looking to move away from a daily delivery role?


We are looking for someone with good Pensions knowledge/experience (Defined Contribution or Defined Benefit) to work as part of our Scheme Events team.

Perhaps you have extensive experience as a Pensions Administrator and want a new change/challenge.


Or maybe you're looking for a change of pace with a company that are market leaders and would like some versatility of clients but still with a community office feel.

Please note this is a remote worker role and can be based anywhere in the UK


What can you expect?

You will be involved in multiple projects including:

  • Production of pension benefits statements
  • Calculating & overseeing the administration of annual pension increases
  • Managing annual regulatory reports

We will count on you to:

  • Be accountable for the quality of service provided from within the Scheme Events team and ensuring that best practice processes are implemented and utilised consistently across all clients including utilisation of the supporting process documentation like PRM's, Checklists, SIPP's and SOP's.
  • Actively support the team by sharing knowledge from your own experience to help colleagues deliver consistent client satisfaction.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for the team, knowing when to support and challenge others to help create a high performing but fun working environment.
  • Perform pension calculations, enter pension's data and answer enquiries to the required standard using automated and nonautomated manual/system processes across a wide range of member or scheme events.
  • Respond to errors and ensure complaints are handled effectively
  • Be a champion of change and provide opinions if you have an idea to create more efficiencies
  • Show flexibility in the method of communication to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and are satisfied with the service levels.
  • Undertake, delegate and review operational tasks as appropriate to ensure all projects are achieving the deadlines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Continuous completion of scheme event processing in line with timescales agreed with the clients at the required level of quality.

What you need to have:


  • Previous pension administration experience (DC or DB)
  • Solid mathematics ability combined with good written/spoken communication skills
  • Knowledge and willingness to learn about different schemes
  • Natural keenness to improve processes wherever possible
  • Broad understanding of pension's processes and legislation and the principles underpinning them.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Has experience of relevant financial services, outsourcing or project management role.
