Description

We are looking for an Activity Coordinator to join the CHOICES Community Hub Team who support service users on the discharge pathway working with forensic inpatient and community teams.

The role is primarily based in the community, working at a variety of locations across North London.

The post holder will work with service usersdetained under The Mental Health Act, 1983 (amended 2007), many of whom suffer from a severe and enduring mental illness.


  • Overseeing a weekly group programme
  • Managing safe staffing levels with Team Lead support
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams and external community services.
  • Service user contact and facilitation of groups
  • Supervision of junior staff
  • Induction of new team members
  • Implementing new service ideas
  • Working jointly with service users for group development
  • Developing promotional material
