Vacancy - Quality Manager

Duties for the role:

  • Ensure all internal and external quality accreditations are adhered to
  • Knowledge of BSEN ISO
  • Customer and supplier liaison for all inbound and outbound materials
  • Maintain plant KPI's
  • Support and lead the team to accept/reject incoming materials by confirming specifications; conduction visual and measurements tests
  • Support and lead the team to accept/reject finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests
  • Generate and compilation of First Article Inspection Reports
  • Highlight production issues to Production Manager (Technical, Quality or Health and Safety)
  • Ensure all equipment used is in calibration and good operating condition
  • Lead internal and external quality audits
  • Maintain Quality Management System
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and measuring equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical data, including models, drawings and specifications
  • Good communicator, written and verbal
  • Mathematically literate, understanding cost and pricing
