Victoria Practice is a small, friendly practice located in the heart of Leith, Edinburgh.

We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join our team on a full time (37.5 hours per week) and permanent basis.

Hours of work will be
Monday-Friday with rotational shift patterns of
8.00am16.00pm and
10.00am 18.00pm. There will also be a requirement to work at least one day per month
7.30am3.30pm to cover our extended hours clinic. Applicants must have flexibility to cover staff absence.
Starting salary will be £23,240 per year

This is a key role within the practice team and duties include but are not limited to:

To answer telephone calls, book patient appointments as well as deal with all inquiries via phone or face to face
Provide front desk/reception cover, meeting and greeting all patients and visitors to the practice
Support clinicians and other members of the practice team in any way they may need
Maintain patient records to the highest standard
Assist with the issuing of prescriptions
Dealing with large volumes of correspondence efficiently and appropriately
Registration and deduction of patients

No previous experience working in a GP practice/ health care setting is required as full training will be provided however experience is desirable.
