We are recruiting for a Protocol Claims Handler/Legal Clerk to become part of the successful First Response Team. You should possess the skills, personality, and character to enhance delivery of our service to both clients and stakeholders.

- Manage ad hoc telephone inquiries from clients, stakeholders, and third parties.
- Settle claims in line with policy cover and legal liability.
- Build positive client relationships, managing expectations for the right outcomes.
- Ensure accurate case handling under Civil Procedure Rules and Legislation.
- Monitor hire vehicles for effective use.
- Negotiate to control costs and meet deadlines.
- Prepare cases thoroughly with strong arguments for recovery.
- Use B2B systems to submit evidence and negotiate with insurers.
- Maximize income by recovering hire, repairs, and other losses.

- Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.
Person Specification:
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- 1 year experience working in contact centre environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and organisation skills
- Experience of working towards deadlines and performance objectives
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives
- Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment
- Cooperative and flexible approach
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution focused approach
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills
- IT literate
