Job Title:
Receptionist / Admin Support


Reporting to:
Executive Assistant to the Principal

Contract Basis 37 hours, term time only plus 2 weeks


Salary:
SP- 6 £19,560 - £20,043 (pro-rata £17,527 - £17,960)


Working hours:8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3:30pm on Friday


Overall purpose of the role:


Key Duties:


  • To oversee the 'front of house' area and ensure all visitors receive a warm welcome.
  • To always project a professional image of the school.
  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls.
  • Process and distribute incoming post and frank outgoing post.
  • Issue ID passes for students, staff and visitors.
  • Assist in the upkeep of student and staff records, ensuring all safeguarding checks are completed for agency staff
  • Organise and store paperwork, documents and computerbased information.
  • Order stationery and first aid equipment.
  • Assist with the management of student lockers and keys.
  • Assist with organising meeting rooms and ordering refreshments when required.


This role would suit someone who wishes to work term time plus two weeks of the year, e.g a parent or carer.
