Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a global financial services organisation in the recruitment of a Senior Treasury Accountant.

Our client, who is a household name have continued to demonstrate growth during an unstable market, and want a driven andmotivated Senior Treasury Accountant to join their innovative department by assisting the leadership team during an exciting period of change.

The main purpose to this management role, which reports to the No.

2 in finance, is to oversee and make sure that all duties for the Treasury and Cashbook Banking Operations are efficiently managed and run to a high standard and within stringent deadlines.

As well as; a secured and diverse funding strategy that supports the company's growth aspirations, along with a strong focus on finding liquidity sources and managing liquidity inside the organisation, ensuring change management initiatives are successfullybeing carried out

As the Senior Treasury you will serve as a key advisor to senior management in the analysis and development of the company's liquidity strategy, ensuring effective management of liquidity maturity risks in line with organisation risk appetite.

As a result,the position plays a crucial part in the management team and financial function, having a wide range of commercial, management, and technical influence throughout the organisation.

Ideal applicant will have the following attributes

Qualified CCAB accountant or a ACT Chartered Treasurer with exposure to Financial Services.
Experience and knowledge of process management and continuous improvement.
Motivated by new challenges and a willingness to take ownership of tasks with varying degrees of complexity
Ability to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
A proactive approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to business change
Advanced Excel and Access skills
