Description

Asprey Medical Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician on behalf of our client in Bournemouth.

The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis covering 37.5 hours per week.

Salary
£20,300 to £28,750 a year dependent on experience.

The Role
The post-holder will work within the well-established and award-winning Medicines Management Team. You'll deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective medicines management systems and processes.

About You
You'll be a team player who's committed to continuous professional development. You will be organised and able to prioritise well and deal with unexpected demands.

Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications

Essential

At least 2 years postqualification experience working in a pharmacy environment
NVQ Level 3 and BTEC or equivalent qualification in Pharmaceutical Science
Registered member of the GPhC
Experience of providing medicine related advice to service users/carers
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of controlled drugs regulations
Ability to travel to different locations as and when required

Desirable

Medicines Management / Accuracy Checking Technician Accreditation
Training, teaching, and presentation skills
Assessment skills including undertaking risk assessments
Audit experience
Experience of change management in medicines management
Criminal justice or mental health experience
Experience of monitoring costs and expenditure
Knowledge of policy development
Medicine information experience
Formulary management experience
