Monday to Friday term time

Working hours: 8:00 till 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 till 15:30 Friday

West Lakes Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated Apprentice Learning Support Assistant to join the team.

This is a key role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for staff, students and visitors.

We are looking for a well-organised, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.

You will work to promote effective participation, enhance learning, and raise aspirations to help all children achieve their full potential.

You will also play a key role in supporting teaching colleagues.

Study towards the CACHE Level 2 or 3 Support Teaching and Learning in schools
Provide support and guidance to children, young people and those engaged with them
Appropriate Level 2 in both English and Maths at a grade C or above.
Up to date knowledge and understanding of the practices and procedures within education relating to the welfare, safety and education of pupils.
An understanding of principles of child development and learning processes.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Salary:
From £5.28 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week

Schedule:
