Are you an experienced insurance professional with a passion for people management? Claims Consortium Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a People Leader.

In this role, you will utilize your insurance and claims management experience to lead and support our claims team.


As a proven People Manager, you will be responsible for coaching and advising your team on a daily basis to drive positive engagement and empowerment, in accordance with company culture and values.


Location:
Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 or Culmhead, TA3


Salary:
£27,000pa - £29,000pa DOE


Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am to 8pm, core hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm.

There will be a requirement to be on the duty Team Leader rota which will involve weekends on an ad-hoc basis in which you would need to be available to answer internal queries should the need arise.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Monitor and manage staff welfare (in conjunction with HR)
  • Offer ongoing assistance, advice and support to the Head of Repair and company leadership team with a view of promoting engagement from Claims Handler role upwards.
  • Assign individuals and collaborate with the Service and Client leader to allocate employee resources in a manner that best meets the individual and department development and client needs.
  • Lead or participate (as applicable) in organisational planning, providing leadership and support to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Foster teamwork and inclusion across the department and company and promote Claims Consortium Group's engagement philosophy and values.
  • Lead recruitment for the department in conjunction with the Recruitment team and ensure the department fosters a culture that drives high attraction and retention rates and lowers attrition and sickness

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Knowledge of the Insurance industry
  • Proven experience working in a leadership role.
