The Lead, Business Enablement will work with Global Client Account Services (GCAS) leadership and Product Owners to plan support for global business-led technology platforms.

The role will ensure delivery of strategic technology initiatives as well as support business as usual changes to GCAS business-led technology platforms.

This role will provide hands-on delivery of technology changes as well as be a leader to Analysts and Product Owners who support administration and management of technology platforms.

This role will work with stakeholders across GCAS technology platforms to establish best practice and governance for business-led technology to meet objectives and maximize the value of our technology investment.

The Lead, Business Enablement will plan and execute projects in line with business objectives with mínimal guidance.

Role Summary

Requires specialized knowledge and expertise in their own job discipline and deep experience in integrating related disciplinary knowledge. Leads disciplinary or cross-functional program of notable risk; uses sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovative solutions. Accountable for work of self and others; sets standards around which others will operate. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Acts as advisor to management and key external stakeholders on broad-ranging projects.

Owns assigned product family or enterprise product and establishes product road map. Products are complex and may be used across multiple business units.

Applies comprehensive knowledge of clients, the company, products, competitors, and regulatory environment to enable the organization with solutions that deliver business results.

Leads complex product road maps inside and across business units and ensures alignment with business strategy.

Demonstrates a high degree of commercial judgment; negotiates regularly with management and business stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on the strategic priorities for distribution enablement.

Communicates metrics, milestones, and/or status to stakeholders inside and outside business unit.


Responsibilities:


  • Product Vision and Strategy Development —Develops and maintains a clear vision for the product family or enterprise product, including technology, competitive, and internal strategic perspectives. Establishes road map for assigned product(s). Contributes to the technical direction and conducts relevant research to inform enablement strategies. Leverages quantitative and qualitative research to establish and communicate the product and product family vision as well as the overall design and delivery strategy.
  • Resource Allocation — Helps to ensure the firm's investment is maximized across the range of assigned products. Reallocates budget as needed to ensure the highestvalue initiatives are appropriately funded. Partners across function to ensure business and technical teams are resourced with top talent to sustain highquality product development.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • Experience in Investment Management industry
  • Experience with relevant client reporting and workflow systems is preferred, specifically with Seismic, SimCorp Coric and/or Appian
  • Previous experience with dataoriented technology projects, including data analysis and report building
  • Ability to translate and simplify complex business and technical concepts
  • Strategic thinker & problemsolver with proven ability to understand details & actively execute to ensure success
  • Excellent negotiation skills & ability to influence.
  • Ability to work well with people with varying technical, business, and cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of analytical and problemsolving skills
